We slept in and only got out of bed at ten. Then I gave the Peanut a leisurely bath, spent the rest of the day in the comforts of my room lounging around reading a book and overdosing on a computer game.

All of that while The Other Half did all of the housework by himself, bought lunch and later on bought pizza for dinner, which we ate sitting in front of the television watching the Barcelona GP.

For some reason, the Peanut was extra cute today too, bouncing around, sleeping when she was supposed to, being generally happy and cooperative.

All in all it was a really nice day. There were no flowers, no gifts. Only a restful time spent as a family enjoying each other's company. My kind of a perfect day.
