JoMélChaton’s Friends - The strange and not-so-strange people I know in real life. Elmi : Elmi is a full-time piano-nut I have known forever. I once waited for her at the McDonald’s at King Albert Park from before it closed till way after it closed for her and was accosted by 2 policemen in a police car while I was sitting amongst the Fry-Kids singing loudly to myself. She eventually showed up at about 2am. That’s why we are still friends. Jeffrey : Jeffrey sat behind me when we were in Primary 2 and I have written a great deal about him in this blog. Fellow wandering soul whose favourite colour was green when we were 11. One day we will share an apartment together with a lot of cats. I have a sneaky suspicion that twenty years from now, we’ll still be meeting in pubs and bitching about our lives. Rebecca : Becky was my ex-colleague back in the waitressing days and she used to cat-sit for me. She’s now cursed with having to answer my occasional calls for last minute drinks at the end of long work days. I don’t know what the ‘bbph’ behind the ‘pixie’ stands for. Simon : Simon is Becky’s friend who sells toy cars for a living. He has an inexplicable fascination for all things stuffed and furry, and has so far been amazingly resilient to my nonsense. Good conversation and company. | |||||||||
